Residential Services - Energy Tips

Energy Saving Tips:

  • While taking the time to clean out your yard this spring, be sure to run a garden hose through your outside air conditioning unit to remove any leaves or debris that may be built up in the unit.  This will help to keep your unit running smoothly.
  • Schedule a air conditioning clean and check with our service department.  An annual tune up can help reduce your cooling costs by up to five percent. To do an accurate check of the system, we like to perform these checks at 65 degrees or higher.  Find out more about our maintenance programs.
  • Vacuum registers and vents regularly. This will keep air moving freely and cleanly.
  • If you are going on vacation, adjust your thermostat accordingly.
